About the gallery

Tools

All the artworks in the gallery were created in VR in Quill, and the best way to experience them is in VR, as they are designed for immersion. I also use Blender Grease Pencil for 2DFX, text, and some other details and merge them into Quill.

Viewing the artworks

At this time the only platform natively supporting this specific flavor of VR art is the Theater Elsewhere app on Meta Quest, the links to watch each piece in VR are included in their respective pages.

License

All the images, videos and .imm files on this website are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license. You may copy, redistribute and remix them, as long as you give appropriate credit and share them under that same CC BY-SA license. In particular if you are reading this in the future and you managed to create a new platform to experience VR art, and you can't reach me because I am dead or something, you are free to republish them on that platform.

Quill import/export Blender add-on

I write a Blender add-on to read and write Quill project files, allowing to combine Quill drawings and animations with Blender features like Grease Pencil.


Kinovea

I created and develop Kinovea, an open source program for studying and annotating human motion in videos, primarily focused on the analysis of sport technique. This is my most impactful project, it has been downloaded more than a million times and is being used by world class athletes and cited in hundreds of research papers.
